We understand that issues may arise with products, and we strive to ensure a smooth and fair return and refund process for our customers. Please carefully review the refund and return policy below.
- Returns and Refunds for Customers
We want our customers to be fully satisfied with their purchases. Our return and refund process is designed to handle specific situations.
- Return Request Period
- 48-Hour Notification: To ensure we can properly assess any issues with the product, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Requests submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.
- The return/refund request must be submitted by sending an email from the customer to support@thetrendyessentialsindia.com."Â Any details submitted by any other medium than this will not be considered valid.
      Return Eligibility
- Damaged or Defective Products: If the product is damaged or defective upon arrival, the customer must provide an unboxing video showing the damage. This video is required to assess the situation and determine the appropriate action. The complaint must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Missing Items: If any items are missing from your order, a continuous, unedited unboxing video must be provided showing the contents of the package clearly. Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order so we can investigate the situation with our warehouse team. Once confirmed, we will arrange a free replacement/reshipment for the missing item(s). A monetary refund will only be issued if the specific item is completely out of stock and cannot be replaced.
- Refund Eligibility
- Refunds will be processed for eligible returns based on the following criteria:

Damaged or Defective Products: Upon confirmation of the damage or defect through the mandatory unboxing video, a free replacement/reshipment of the same product will be processed. For electronic items found defective upon arrival, we offer a 100% free replacement; however, no monetary refunds will be issued.Missing Items: If any items are confirmed missing after investigating the unboxing video, we will arrange a free reshipment of the missing item(s). A refund will only be issued if the item is completely out of stock and cannot be replaced.
- Refund or replacement approval will be subject to final review by The Trendy Essentials India, depending on the clarity of the unboxing video and the nature of the defect.
 Return Shipping
Customer’s Responsibility: The customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a reliable shipping service with tracking to ensure the safe return of the product to the warehouse.

- Rejection/Denial of Parcel
- If the customer rejects or denies acceptance of a parcel after it has been dispatched, the following deductions will apply:

However, once a parcel has been dispatched from our warehouse, it cannot be cancelled or rejected.If a customer rejects, refuses acceptance of a parcel at the time of delivery, or remains unavailable after 3 delivery attempts, the order will be marked as returned to origin (RTO). In such cases, a flat 15% Restocking and Handling Fee (which covers the double costs of forward and reverse shipping incurred by the store) will be strictly deducted from the customer's advance online payment. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment source only after the parcel safely reaches our warehouse. These deductions will be made before issuing any refunds.

Refund Processing & TimelineOnce your returned parcel is received and inspected at our central warehouse, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the product condition.Important Refund Conditions:
- Deductions: If approved, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days, after strictly deducting the 15% Restocking and Handling Fee.
- Electronics Exception: Please note that no monetary refunds are applicable for electronic items. If an electronic product is found defective upon arrival via a valid unboxing video, only a free replacement will be issued.
- Product Condition: A refund will only be issued if the product is completely unused, undamaged, and returned in its original condition with all its original packaging and tags intact.

Non-Returnable ItemsCertain items are strictly not eligible for return or refund, including but not limited to:
- Products that have been used, altered, opened, or physically damaged by the customer.
- Products explicitly marked as non-returnable in the product description.
- Electronic Products: Eligible for a free replacement/reshipment only if found defective or damaged upon arrival (within 48 hours of delivery with a mandatory unboxing video). No monetary refunds will be issued. Depending on the item value, our warehouse team may dispatch the replacement.
How to Process a Return/RefundIf you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by following these steps:- Send an email to support@thetrendyessentialsindia.com with your Order ID.
- Attach the mandatory continuous unboxing video showing the packaging label and the defect clearly.
- Once your request is reviewed and approved by our team, we will share our central warehouse address with you.
- You must safely ship the item back to our warehouse using a reliable courier service with a tracking number.
- After the product is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will initiate your free replacement or process the refund (after deducting the 15% restocking fee), as communicated during your request confirmation.
Shipping & Return CostsWe offer Free Shipping on all orders PAN India. However, in the event of a return, please note that the initial shipping and handling costs incurred by the store to deliver the product are non-refundable.Therefore, a flat 15% deduction will be applied to your refund amount to cover these handling fees. Additionally, the customer will be responsible for arranging and covering the return shipping fees to send the product back to our central warehouse. We recommend using a reliable shipping service with tracking to ensure the safe return of the product.

Order Cancellation & Modification PolicyNo Cancellations After Order Placement: Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled by the customer. We process all orders immediately through our automated fulfillment system to ensure prompt delivery, and therefore, cancellations are not permitted once the order is in process.No Modifications Allowed: Once an order is confirmed, no changes or modifications (such as changing the product color/size, changing the delivery address, or updating contact details) can be made. Please ensure all shipping and product details are 100% accurate before final checkout.Exceptions & Store Cancellations: In rare circumstances, such as if an item goes out of stock, a technical pricing error occurs, or the provided Pin code for delivery is completely unserviceable by our courier partners, The Trendy Essentials India reserves the right to cancel the order. In such cases, the customer will be notified immediately via email, and the 100% full amount will be refunded back to the original payment source.
No Returns for "Change of Mind"
We do not accept returns or exchanges if you have changed your mind, if the product no longer suits your personal preference, or if you dislike the color/style. Please review descriptions and images carefully before ordering.Non-Returnable Items (Strictly No Exceptions)
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Personal Care & Beauty: Makeup, skincare, haircare, perfumes, and hair accessories.
- Innerwear & Jewelry: Bodysuits, lingerie, earrings, and necklaces.
- Electronic Items: Eligible for free replacement only if defective upon arrival (on receiving order make unboxing video and raise concern on support@thetrendyessentialsindia.com within 48 hours of receiving the order); no monetary refunds.
- Clearance Sale Items: Any product bought during a Flash Sale, Clearance, or using a "Final Sale" discount code.
Eligibility for Returns (Damaged or Wrong Products Only)
Returns or replacements are ONLY accepted if:
- The product was received in a physically damaged or broken condition.
- The product is completely defective, or the wrong item/size/color was delivered.
4. Mandatory Unboxing Video
To claim a return or replacement, a clear, unedited unboxing video is mandatory. It must show the sealed courier package being opened in one single continuous shot (no cuts, no pauses). Without this video, your request will be automatically rejected as per our warehouse guidelines.5. Return Window & Process

- Return Shipping: Once approved, the customer will be responsible for arranging and covering the return shipping fees to send the product back to our central warehouse. Shipping charges are completely non-refundable.
6. Condition of Item
The item must be completely unused, unworn, unwashed, and returned in its original condition with all original packaging and tags intact.7. Refunds & Deductions
